AW08 designs are all set and now, we are in selling mode. This period is quite stressful but fun all at the same time. Your heart, labor, soul,all of it is put to the test and in the end, it is always worth it. During, and I am still in this process, it's a stomach churning experience. Look at me, it's 1:23 am, I've got a sore throat, dark eye circles, and a new strand of white hair. Fear not, I will have the time to re-coop and plan to pluck that white hair good bye and conceal conceal with my favorite Kanebo concealer pen!

Regardless, Hansel from Basel AW08 is FFFRESH! This is my favorite and strongest collection to date and I hope you will fall in love with it.

It's all about getting luxe in wool/cashmere and pima cotton. Inspired by mountain adventures,cable knits, leather buttons on your grandfather's tweed suit, elbow patches, and rich rustic colors, we hope to add a nostalgic & autumnal sensibility to your fall ensemble.

I went on to their site to check out their e-shop and discovered they're in the midst of a massive sale. My biggest temptations: Emma Cook's bubble-shaped cropped jacket, a ballerina-ish, sheer black chiffon dress by Alexandre Herchcovitch, and Grey Ant's crisp khaki shorts with braided trim—all more than half off.

I have loved the band, Blonde Redhead for as long as I can remember. My dear friend and wardrobe extraordinaire, Lauren Tafuri styled their new music video "23" directed by Melodie Mcdaniel. Singer,Kazu Makino will be shim shimmying in Hansel from Basel socks.

Note to Blonde Redhead fans: she's wearing black pom poms, get them while they are hot!
